Byrne says he brought that message to the Federal fisheries Minister and she rejected the idea outright despite the unanimous decision of all premiers and fisheries ministers in Canada. He says this needs to change or it’s time for a new minister or government. Byrne says it would be nice to hear how federal PC Leader Pierre Poilievre feels about joint management. He says the plan now is to create a campaign to heighten the issue of joint management.
