Federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre to host an open event in Corner Brook tonight

    The leader of the opposition kicked off a whirlwind 4 day tour of the province in the capital city on Tuesday.

    Federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is on the west coast today. The leader of the opposition kicked off a whirlwind 4 day tour of the province in the capital city on Tuesday. He will be in Deer Lake and Corner Brook meeting with workers and families. Poilievre has also launched the Spike the Hike – Axe the Tax campaign which aims to stop the 23% increase to carbon tax set to take place April 1st. Tonight there will be an Outdoor Sports Meet & Greet at the Corner Brook Quality Inn at 7:00 PM.
