A Deer Lake woman is facing drug trafficking charges after police found cocaine during a search on a home in the town this past weekend. RCMP Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says 31 year old Stephanie Lodge was arrested at the search which happened at 4 o'clock Saturday morning (January 10th). As well as cocaine, police found pills, cash and other items used to sell drugs.
O’Donaghey says this is an ongoing investigation led by the RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation (JFO). Lodge was later released from custody, and will appear in provincial court during March.
