A New Year’s Day traffic stop on the Northern Peninsula led to an uninsured and unregistered vehicle being taken off the road and several tickets for the driver. At around 11:40 a.m. on January 1st, an officer on patrol in Roddickton conducted a traffic stop in Majors Street. The driver, a 69-year-old man, was also operating without a valid driver’s licence and the vehicle was towed to the impound.
