His license was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.

A 29-year old driver lost his vehicle and license after RCMP Traffic Services West pulled him over last week doing 50 km/hr over the posted speed limit. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says it happened Wednesday afternoon on the Trans‑Canada Highway near Baie Verte Junction. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was ticketed for excessive speeding. His license was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.

RCMP urges motorists to slow down and plan ahead. The extra minute or two that you might save by speeding is not worth it.
