The Corner Brook Curling Club will be getting a bit of break with rent in light of plans to increase membership levels and re-establish itself. Council approved their ask last night during their monthly meeting. Councillor Pamela Keeping says this includes a rental reprieve of $3000 a year and a $5000 up front grant to purchase new equipment, snow clearing, and city operated maintenance. The Curling Club will also have the chance to rent out the space when not in season.
