Summer isn’t over yet but the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade  is seeing an increase in the number of people heading into the Visitor’s Centre. Keith Goulding is the Board’s past president. He says it’s been a busy year and numbers have been consistent through June, rising in July. Goulding says August is shaping up to another busy month, and he expects to see more visitors to the area in September as well. Meanwhile, Corner Brook is expecting one of the biggest cruise ships of the season next Thursday, August 15th. The Emerald Princess of Princess cruises is due in port that day at 8 a.m. The vessel carries 3,080 passengers and 1200 crew.
