The Corner Brook Stream Development Corporation is getting over $330,000 from three sources of funding. Executive Director Brent Humphries says the trail network is being upgraded by phases to be more accessible. He says the hope is to have 33 lights along the trail operational by mid summer. ACOA has contributed over $183,000, the Provincial Regional Development Fund is putting in just over $85,000 and the City of Corner Brook is adding over $76,000.
