The city of Corner Brook is working out the bugs with the new parking app that helps people avoid using coins in parking meters. At Monday night’s public meeting, the city’s Director of Protective Services Todd Flynn says they’re working on the tweaks. He says one concern was related to the set up on the app. Meanwhile, coins are still being accepted at parking meters but a lot of jurisdictions are moving away from the meters, which are costly to replace and becoming antique.
