To qualify, an entrant must get a mark of at least 85 percent.

For the past 61 years, the Corner Brook Rotary Music Festival has provided the stage for young musicians to showcase their talents. The festival started March 29th and is taking place at 4 different venues throughout the city. It will culminate with a Final Concert 7 p.m. this Friday at the Arts and Culture centre. Mayor Jim Parsons says Corner Brook is known for having a lot of people with artistic abilities and the arts make life worth living. The Rose Bowl Concert gets underway 7 o’clock tonight at the Arts and Culture Centre. To qualify, an entrant must get a mark of at least 85 percent. A panel of three adjudicators will decide the winners in each Rose Bowl competition.
