Corner Brook RNC called out to few motor vehicle collisions yesterday; no injuries reported

    Close to 11:15 in the morning, RNC responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Elswick Road and West Valley Road. One of the drivers was issued a ticket for Failure to yield right of way at an intersection.

    Corner Brook RNC were called out to a few motor vehicle collisions yesterday and there were no injuries. Shortly before 8 a.m. police responded to  a single vehicle accident on the entry ramp from the TransCanada Highway onto the Lewin Parkway. A vehicle had struck the snowbank and received minor damage. Then close to 11:15 in the morning, RNC responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Elswick Road and West Valley Road. One of the drivers was issued a ticket for Failure to yield right of way at an intersection. Both vehicles had minor damage. At 2 p.m., police were called to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Philip Drive. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages and had to be towed from the scene.
