Mayor Jim Parsons says there will be security on site and all garbage must be in clear bags.
All those presents under the tree leave a mess once all the unwrapping is over. The city of Corner Brook will be offering a Christmas Garbage dropoff at the Civic Centre from now until December 30th. Mayor Jim Parsons says there will be security on site and all garbage must be in clear bags. Christmas trees will be collected during the week of January 8th. After a couple of days off, regular neighborhood garbage pickup in Corner Brook will resume today with the Day 2 Zone. Day 3 and 4 Zones will follow tomorrow and Friday. Next week, pickup will not take place on Monday, January 2nd for the New Year holiday and will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd with the Day 5 zone. Residents can put six bags as usual after a holiday. There is no limit to the number of bags of recyclables that you can put out.
