Corner Brook residents are getting things ready to celebrate New Year’s Eve but there are rules to ensure everyone can be comfortable. Mayor Jim Parsons told BayFM’s Lenny Benoit this morning, fireworks are only allowed during certain hours, from 6-9pm and 11pm-1am.
Parsons says the city’s overnight parking ban will also be lifted for the night. Vehicles must be moved no later than 1:00 a.m., January 2. He says the parking ban is in place during the winter so snow clearing can take place without obstructions.
