Pamela Gill says while the World Energy GH2 proposition hasn’t come to fruition yet, they gave an excellent presentation and it’s time for Corner Brook to get involved.

Last week, the Town of Stephenville invited industry organizations, business representatives and educational institutions to discuss development in the area. Corner Brook Councillor Pamela Gill was there in her role with Grenfell Campus. She says  the purpose of the Synergy session was to showcase the various ongoing projects, including aquaculture and a 44 year lifespan salt mine. Gill says while the World Energy GH2 proposition hasn’t come to fruition yet, they gave an excellent presentation and it’s time for Corner Brook to get involved. After some discussion concerning a conflict of interest with Councillor Pender being present, Gill proposed a motion. She says the city hasn’t been discussing opportunities and could be left” with  our pants down.
