Corner Brook city hall reaches out to MUN management amid concerns over future of Grenfell Campus

    Meanwhile, Council will advocate tirelessly for the students and employees, adding the stability of their jobs and the quality of the student experience are non-negotiable priorities for this council.

     

    Corner Brook city hall has issued a statement regarding recent news on the executive restructuring at Memorial University of Newfoundland Labrador. Early in its new term, council met with MUN’s new president to discuss the future of Grenfell Campus. At the time it was acknowledged that necessary but difficult decisions were coming. Council was assured that the Campus’ continued presence, its autonomy and its programming, was a high priority for the institution as a whole. Meanwhile, Council will advocate tirelessly for the students and employees, adding the stability of their jobs and the quality of the student experience are non-negotiable priorities for this council. They have reached out to management at MUN to continue the conversation.
