Corner Brook approves an extension to an existing quarry near the Lewin Parkway Interchange

    Councillor Bill Griffin says it’s in a rural zone about 2 kms southeast of the Lewin Parkway Interchange and the Massey Drive Access Road.

    The city of Corner Brook has approved the extension of an existing quarry and a portion of land to use as a stockpile area. Councillor Bill Griffin says it’s in a rural zone about 2 kms southeast of the Lewin Parkway Interchange and the Massey Drive Access Road. The application was approved during Monday night’s public council meeting.
