MHA Gerry Byrne says there’s great success in Corner Brook with the development of community gardens. He announced $3000 for community garden projects throughout the city. Byrne says community gardens also create an awareness of where our food actually comes from and how important it is to support farmers. He says community gardens provide that sense of stress relief and satisfaction.
