Commander Eric Isabelle says their visit this week is to mark the 20th anniversary of the commissioning of the HMCS Corner Brook.
Five crewmembers of His Majesty’s Canadian Submarine are in Corner Brook and would like to meet you. The public is invited to meet the crew and Legion members this evening from 6 to 9 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion. Commander Eric Isabelle says their visit this week is to mark the 20th anniversary of the commissioning of the HMCS Corner Brook. He says there is a possibility the HMCS Corner Brook will be returning back to the east coast of Canada, closer to her namesake city. The crew of the HMCS Corner Brook will fly back to British Columbia tomorrow where the submarine is docked.
