Christmas decorations are coming down but keep the lights out for Corner Brook Winter Carnival

    Corner Brook’s annual winter carnival traditionally starts in late February. 

    While many people wait until after January ( known as “Old Christmas Day”, to take down the decorations, Corner Brook residents have been putting real trees at the curb for collection this week. On Bayfm this week with Dean Clarke, Mayor Linda Chaisson says she’s leaving hers up outside to be decorated for the upcoming winter carnival. She also asked residents to leave lights and outside decorations up. Corner Brook’s annual winter carnival traditionally starts in late February.
