Career workshop for women at Vine Place Community Centre in Corner Brook next week

    Amy Hann is the Education and Employment Coordinator at Vine Place. She says it will be a hands-on session for women to explore skills and learn about support.

    There will be a Career Services Workshop for Women at  Vine Place Community Centre in Corner Brook Next Week. The session will be hosted by Equiforce, formerly known as the Women in Resource Development Corporation. The workshop is set for Thursday, January 22nd at 2 p.m. Amy Hann is the Education and Employment Coordinator at Vine Place. She says it will be a hands-on session for women to explore skills and learn about support. This includes exploring skills they already have, learning to talk about those skills with confidence, and the creation of a skills inventory to use for employment. 

    Hann says the center is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the social housing community here in Corner Brook with numerous programs and services which they offer to anyone in the community.
