An 81-year-old man was found deceased Sunday evening, July 29, 2023, by the RCMP NL Underwater Recovery Team (URT) after Clarenville RCMP received a report that he had not returned from fishing and that his boat had been found overturned in Dean’s Cove Pond near Hickman’s Harbour. A life jacket was also found floating in the water under the boat.
