    Bay St. George RCMP arrest woman for failing to meet conditions of her release

    RCMP checked Samantha Cornect’s residence early Thursday morning to see if she was following the conditions attached to her release.

    A 31-year-old woman arrested last week as part of a trio of thieves who stole a purse outside a grocery store in Stephenville, was arrested again on Friday. RCMP checked Samantha Cornect’s residence early Thursday morning to see if she was following the conditions attached to her release. She wasn’t there and police arrested her early Friday morning. Cornect, another woman and a man are facing charges in relation to the theft and using a credit card.
