All snowmobiling in Gros Morne National Park ends tomorrow

    Snowmobile permit holders had until the end of April and middle of May but these permits are ending due to inadequate snow cover.

    All areas of Gros Morne National Park are closed to snowmobiling starting tomorrow. Snowmobile permit holders had until the end of April and middle of May but these permits are ending due to inadequate snow cover. Snowmobiling season dates are subject to change at the discretion of Parks Canada due to unfavourable snow conditions, dangerous conditions, and impact to ecosystems.
