On Bayfm with Dean Clarke yesterday, Mayor Linda Chaisson said people can expect to see the start within the next couple of weeks.
All of the new blue garbage bins have been delivered to registered residents in Corner Brook, but the new collection program has not started as planned. On the city’s Facebook page, it stated, they “are still working on fielding some missed bin delivery requests and would also like to ensure residents have received their garbage collection schedules and sorting information in time.” This meant the scheduled January 1st start for the new automated method of collection would be pushed ahead to later this month. On Bayfm with Dean Clarke yesterday, Mayor Linda Chaisson said people can expect to see the start within the next couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, Chaisson says a new year brings a new garbage schedule for residents, which is out in the mail. To learn more about the program and sorting streams for recycling ahead of time, go to cornerbrook.com/garbage-and-recycling.
