A woman is dead and a man has life threatening injuries after a rollover on the TCH near Bellevue

    The two vehicle occupants, who were not wearing seatbelts, were ejected from the SUV.  The woman died at the scene and a man was transported to Carbonear General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

    A 40-year-old woman is deceased and a man is left with serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway near Bellevue yesterday. (August 8, 2024.) Police say shortly after 8:30 a.m. they received a report of the single-vehicle rollover crash.  The two vehicle occupants, who were not wearing seatbelts, were ejected from the SUV.  The woman died at the scene and a man was transported to Carbonear General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Collision Analyst with RCMP Traffic Services attended the scene and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is involved. The investigation is continuing.
