A new town in Bay St. George; Mainland and Three Rock Cove have incorporated

    A transition committee will be created to determine next steps and timelines.

    Mainland and Three Rock Cove in Bay St. George have incorporated as a town.  The new municipality will have enhanced legislative authority, access to training, increased decision-making processes like bylaws, more access to revenue from things like taxes, the ability to leverage more funding and opportunities to attract new businesses. A transition committee will be created to determine next steps and timelines.
