    A fatal crash near Brigus Junction claims the life of an elderly woman

    All three occupants were sent to hospital for treatment, but the elderly woman died in hospital.

    RCMP say a woman in her nineties is dead after a single vehicle crash. It happened around noon yesterday near Brigus junction on the Trans Canada Highwa. All three occupants were sent to hospital for treatment, but the elderly woman died in hospital.y. Police say a pickup truck carrying three people left the road and rolled over, before crashing into a ditch. RCMP say roads were wet at the time The crash is under investigation.
