We wish you …a Beary Merry Christmas tonight at the Arts and Culture Centre. It’s been a Corner Brook event for nearly the past two decades. Spokesperson Keith Cormier says it all started with the Corner Brook Fire Department. He says a lot of musicians have taken part over the years. Cormier will sing in the Mi’kmaq language tonight. Other performers include Lovely Bones, Alison Crowe, Rev Dave and the Sin Eaters, Nick Hamlyn, Jennifer Dawson-Hobbs, Emma Jones, Dave McHugh, Jason and Mackenzie Rogers, and Alley Waterman. The event is sponsored by the CBFD, Salvation Army and Investors Group. Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit will emcee tonight’s event, which gets underway at 8pm. A new toy and $20 is the admission.
