A thirty-year-old man is dead after going under water at a swimming hole on Ballfield Road in Dildo on Saturday. Whitbourne RCMP responded to the report just after 3:30 p.m. that a man had not resurfaced after going under the water. The local fire department and Emergency Medical Services also responded. A RCMP constable and firefighters entered the water and located the man shortly after. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
