The Agriculture Expo is back and it’s bigger this year taking place at the Corner Brook Civic Centre Studio. It all kicks off with Family Fun Night this evening at 7 o’clock where kids can paint their own farm ornament. Sara Power is the Public Trust & Marketing Manager with the NL Federation of Agriculture and dropped by Bayfm for a chat. She says this year will feature two dedicated spaces for The Barnyard and the Farmer’s Market.
The Barnyard will bring visitors up close with livestock exhibits, an animal farm, sheep shearing, beekeeping and more, creating opportunities to learn about the animals and people behind local food production.
Over in the Farmer’s Market, visitors can explore exhibits from a variety of sectors, featuring local products such as beef, eggs, vegetables, honey and cheese, along with other agricultural products, informational booths and educational experiences.
Moonica the Milking Cow will also be back. Admission to Agriculture Expo 2026 is free, with donations accepted in support of 4-H Newfoundland and Labrador.
BayFM will be live on location throughout the weekend. Be sure to stop by and say hello!
