RCMP charge driver caught on camera in August driving dangerously in a construction zone near Route 460

A 47-year-old Stephenville man has been charged after a dangerous driving incident near Route 460. On August 23rd, Bay St. George RCMP got a report of a red pick-up truck entering the ditch on the westbound side of the TCH highway at a high rate of speed. This was in a construction zone and crews at the scene reported that the truck also knocked over a road sign. Police circulated dash cam footage from a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road.
