The RNC handed out nearly 100 tickets during a traffic enforcement initiative last weekend on the west coast. From Thursday to Monday, 80 of those were issued in the Corner Brook region for speeding, operating without a license and having unregistered vehicles. Friday evening just outside of York Harbour a male driver was clocked doing 111 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone. His license was suspended and he was also ticketed for using a cell phone while driving.
