Only a handful of people showed up for a town hall meeting dealing with Corner Brook’s budget for 2027. It took place at the Marina Redmond Centre and on Bayfm this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson spoke about concerns that were raised, such as mile a minute that is growing on the sides of roads, snowclearing and sidewalks.
Meanwhile, Chaisson says people can still have a say about the budget by sending an email to budget@cornerbrook.com.
Budget discussions for council and city staff will start during the second week of November.
