A 23-year-old man is facing charges after Bay St. George RCMP found him unconscious in a vehicle and had to administer naloxone. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says shortly before 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, police were approached by a concerned bystander in Stephenville Crossing. He says the driver was unresponsive and was also treated at the scene by paramedics. O’Donaghey says police also found an unauthorized weapon. The man is due to appear in court during December and the investigation is continuing.
Bay St. George RCMP took a vehicle from a driver this week who did not have registration, insurance or a driver’s license. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says police stopped the man Tuesday night just after 9:45 p.m. on Main Street in Stephenville as part of a proactive patrol. The 37-year-old man was ticketed for operating without a licence and operating a vehicle without insurance. The vehicle was impounded.
