A $700 revitalization plan by Corner Brook Pulp and Paper is now in the hands of government undergoing the environmental assessment process. Known as “Project Tuckamore,” includes the development of a 155 MW wind farm, with up to 22 wind turbines, a transmission line connecting to the existing substation in Massey Drive, upgrades at Deer Lake Power, and forestry modernization. Construction also includes road upgrades, site preparation, turbine installation, and electrical infrastructure.
