This year’s Walk for World Suicide Prevention Day gets underway 7 p.m. tomorrow night in front of city hall.
The annual walk for World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is taking place tomorrow evening in Corner Brook. Sandy Batt and her friend started the walk here 16 years ago. She says they’ve come a long way since then. Batt says her message for anyone going through a hard time has always been, “you are not alone.” She lost her father to suicide at the age of 13 and lost a sibling this year.
