Impaired driver caught in Port aux Basques on Wednesday

    His driver's licence was suspended, his vehicle was seized and impounded, and he is due in court during May. 

    A 60-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge after police stopped him in Port aux Basques Wednesday afternoon. He failed a roadside breath test and blew more than twice the legal limit back at the detachment. His driver's licence was suspended, his vehicle was seized and impounded, and he is due in court during May.
