Up to $1,000 a month bursaries available for indigenous youth and post secondary education

    Monika Rumbolt is a Youth Engagement Officer and says the purpose behind these bursaries is to reduce gaps for young people needing funding.

    Tomorrow is the deadline to apply for the 2023-2024 Post Secondary Support Bursary through the Ulnooweg Foundation. All Indigenous youth under 35 who are attending Trade School, College, or University in Atlantic Canada, both part-time and full-time, are invited to apply. Monika Rumbolt is a Youth Engagement Officer. She says the purpose behind these bursaries is to reduce gaps for young people needing funding. Rumbolt says they’re not just looking for best marks but more at the student’s character. The bursary provides up to $1000 a month and the deadline to apply is 5pm tomorrow.
