Burin Peninsula RCMP is investigating a motor vehicle collision that claimed the lives of two individuals on Route 210 near the exit to Red Harbour early this morning. Shortly after 6:00 a.m., police received the report of a serious collision where a transport truck and pickup truck had collided. The two occupants of the pickup truck, a 33-year-old man and a 60-year-old man, died at the scene. The driver of the transport truck was taken to Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for treatment of minor injuries. The investigation is continuing.
