Marina Redmond honoured with the Premier’s Medal for Arts, Heritage, Sport and Recreation

    At this week’s public meeting, Mayor Linda Chaisson spoke about the former city clerk’s devotion to community and sport.

    The late Marina Redmond was honoured during a ceremony in St. John’s last week. Her family was there to accept the Premier’s Medal for Arts, Heritage, Sport and Recreation, and was one of 19 recipients throughout the province. At this week’s public meeting, Mayor Linda Chaisson spoke about the former city clerk’s devotion to community and sport. Marina Redmond was also a valuable volunteer within the sports community.
