Corner Brook city hall approved a couple of home based businesses at this week’s public meeting; a non-medical community resource for homecare on Wheeler’s Road and baked goods on Valley Road. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the business on Wheeler’s Road will help seniors. She says council was pleased to hear about the baked goods business. City staff sent notices to residents in both areas but no submissions were received.
