TCH now open near Little Harbour East after collision between a transport truck and a car

    Whitbourne RCMP thanks all drivers for your patience and cooperation during the closure.

    UPDATE (May 6, 4:35 p.m.): The Trans-Canada Highway between La Manche Siding and Little Harbour East is now open to traffic. Whitbourne RCMP thanks all drivers for your patience and cooperation during the closure.

    EARLIER STORY: TRAFFIC ADVISORY: The Trans-Canada Highway is reduced to one lane of alternating traffic between La Manche Siding and the turn off to Upshall and Little Harbour East.

    Whitbourne RCMP and first responders are responding to a motor vehicle collision between a commercial tractor trailer unit and a passenger car.

    Motorists are asked to exercise patience and caution, and obey all instructions from police and other responders.
