The town of Deer Lake has a new video mini documentary with a strong focus on tourism. It’s also the first mini documentary for Deer Lake and can be found on the town’s Facebook page. The video was officially unveiled during the Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority's Strategic Plan launch on January 28th. The event was co-hosted by the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade. Airport President and CEO Tammy Priddle says Deer Lake is known as being an airport town and when they work together, they achieve more. The video features the town’s recreation which includes a centre with a hockey arena, pool, bowling alley, and soon to be fitness center. Footage take viewers through walking trails, lake activities, and groomed atv trails in an atv friendly community. Several businesses are featured with a taste of homestyle ownership and friendliness. Priddle says the relationship with the town is invaluable.
