Nominations are open for the Premier’s and Minister’s Teaching Awards.

The school year is coming to end and it’s time to recognize those teachers who are innovative and compassionate. Nominations are open for the Premier’s and Minister’s Teaching Awards. The Premier’s Award for Innovation in Teaching honours outstanding K-12 teachers who have shown innovation in instruction and a commitment to getting their students ready for future success. The Minister of Education’s Award for Compassion in Teaching recognizes those who have gone above and beyond to support the social, emotional and mental well-being of their students, colleagues or school community as a whole. The deadline for nominations is June 26th and winners will be announced at a ceremony early in the new  school year. More information can be found on the Department of Education and Early Childhood Learning website.
