Sadie MacDonnell and Gavin Staples will keep social media platforms up to date as carnival continues.
The Tim Hortons Social Media ambassadors for the 51st Corner Brook Winter Carnival are gearing up for a fun packed ten days of winter fun from February 16th to the 25th. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Sadie MacDonnell and Gavin Staples will keep social media platforms up to date as carnival continues. MacDonnell says carnival has been a big part of her life for years now. She has been involved with carnival since she was young and can remember competing in the Leifling contest. Once she met the ambassadors, she knew she wanted to be one. Staples says he’s also enjoyed winter carnival for a while now. He really enjoyed the spelling bees and being so involved and up close with carnival events. Staples says it’s a great opportunity to meet so many different people. Nine high school students competed in this year’s Tim Hortons Social Media Winter Carnival Ambassador contest.
