Buying local food is about to get easier in the Stephenville and St. George’s areas. Dean Clarke tells us how. The Western NL Food Hub is set to expand its services this weekend through a new partnership with the People of the Dawn Indigenous Friendship Centre. Residents can now shop for local foods through the Western NL Food Hub and pick up their orders at the People of the Dawn Indigenous Friendship Centre locations in Stephenville and St. George’s. Their online store is updated weekly with products from over 30 food producers from the Western region including fresh vegetables, seafood, meats, baked goods, and more.
