The popular Treasure Chest Toonie Draw by Laubach Literacy and the Family Outreach Centre is now in the hands of Xavier House and the Corner Brook Rotary Club. Donna Luther made the announcement on Bayfm with Lenny Benoit this morning. She says monies raised will go to the residents of Xavier House. Luther says it works the same way with players contributing a toonie for a number for the weekly draw, and each week that follows. She says there are many places you can play, on the north and south shores, Corner Brook, Pasadena and Deer Lake. October 5th will be the first draw date for the Toonie West Quest.
