The RNC is looking for new cadets, applications are open now for the June session

    Just last month, 13 recruit constables were sworn in to service following the addition of nine experienced officers in 2024.

    The RNC is now accepting applications for its June 2025 Cadet Training Program. There will be two cadet training classes next year and a class of cadets has already been selected to begin training at the Atlantic Police Academy in January. Recruitment is now ongoing to fill seats for a June offering. The application and selection process includes written, oral, and physical components. Graduates may be assigned to serve in any jurisdiction of the RNC. Just last month, 13 recruit constables were sworn in to service following the addition of nine experienced officers in 2024. In 2023, 17 new officers joined the RNC.
