NLC President and CEO Bruce Keating says the focus is on what happens after an impaired driving accident.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation has launched a new social responsibility awareness campaign, called End Impaired Driving. Shoppers at NLC Liquor stores across the province, will be able to see a series of short videos and images that show how life is forever changed due to impaired driving. President and CEO Bruce Keating says this awareness campaign is done in consultation with the RCMP and the RNC. He says the focus is on what happens after an impaired driving accident. Keating says they want people to have a healthy relationship with alcohol and cannabis but to also realize what the consequences could be if they drive. The decision to get behind the wheel of a vehicle or a snowmobile or boat when consuming alcohol or pot, is not the right decision.
