    The matter of a St. Anthony man charged with first degree murder has been put over until January 23rd.

    At this point, the defense are still waiting on disclosure so the matter has been set over until January 23rd at 2:30pm.

    The matter of a St. Anthony man accused of first degree murder was called in Corner Brook Provincial court today. Dean Penney, age 50, has been charged in connection with the death of Jennifer Hillier-Penney. The woman has been missing for seven years. The matter was put over until today as the defense is waiting on disclosure from the Crown. At this point, they are still waiting on disclosure so the matter has been set over until January 23rd at 2:30pm. Meanwhile, Dean Penney is being held in custody in St. John’s.
